RemarksI was driving east with my girlfriend past Sonoma Library, a bright light entered our frame of view from the top left of the windshield from my pov in the drivers seat. It traveled about half way from that point to the horizon before before it quickly faded lit back up and disappeared within 1/4 second. I would assume that since I saw it for between 1.5-2 seconds and it was already brighter than any star when it entered our frame of view, then it could have been visible for 5-8 seconds total unobstructed. On a personal note it was super cool to see! I’ve seen lots of shooting stars; always a tiny streak way up in the sky, but this one lasted longer and was way brighter than any other I’ve seen. It was way brighter than every star in the sky, visible between streetlights, it was incredible!
